Chocolate And Peanut Butter Squares Recipe

Try these delicious and easy to make Germinal Organic Chocolate & Peanut Butter squares.

In chocolate chip cookies we crust! That’s why our Germinal Organic cookies create the perfect crust when paired with peanut butter. These squares are so satisfying and bold in taste, with a hint of Sea Salt flakes that bring all the flavors together.

  • Prep time: 5 minutes
  • Cook time: 65 minutes 

1 box of Germinal Organic Chocolate Chip Cookies   
3 tablespoons butter 
1 cup powdered sugar 
1 cup peanut butter  
1 1/2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips  
1 tablespoon coconut butter  
4 tablespoons peanut butter   

Suggestion: Use high-quality store-bought natural peanut butter or make it at home for an ultimate healthy snack.
You can also swap the semi-sweet chocolate for dark chocolate

Tips: Be sure your crust and topping are chilled very well for smooth cutting and less crumble.

Step 1:
In a food processor, grind Germinal Organic Chocolate Chip Cookies until very fine

Step 2:
In a small nonstick pan, melt butter, 1 cup peanut butter, and whisk in the powdered sugar slowly until texture is smooth, about 2 minutes

Step 3:
In a bowl, add Germinal Organic Chocolate Chip Cookies and peanut butter mixture and mix until well blended. Transfer to a small sheet pan 9 x13 inches. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Step 4:
In a microwavable bowl, add semisweet chocolate chips, coconut oil and peanut butter and microwave for 60 seconds, then mix well

Step 5:
Spread over prepared crust, and sprinkle chopped peanuts and salt flakes. Refrigerate for one hour and cut into desired size squares
