The possibilities are endless with Germinal Organic products. You can make a blueberry version of this recipe by substituting apples with fresh blueberries and using Germinal blueberry bars instead of the apple cinnamon flavor.

Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 2:
In a sauté pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat
Next add apple cubes and brown sugar, and cook until the apples are soft and caramelized for about 6 minutes. Set aside.

Step 3:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together raw sugar, ground cinnamon, eggs, egg yolk, heavy cream, and vanilla until combined as one.
Add cubed Germinal apple cinnamon bars and apple mixture
Let it set for 5 minutes

Step 4:
Spray a baking pan with cooking spray
Add pudding mixture to the pan and cook for 35-40 minutes or until the custard is set.
Let it slightly chill before serving

Step 5:
To make the maple butter sauce, in a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add maple syrup and brown sugar.
Whisk until sugar dissolves, usually in about 45 seconds.

Once you are finished making the Germinal apple cinnamon bread pudding and the maple butter sauce, drizzle your sauce onto the finished product.
For an even sweeter taste, serve this dessert with a hefty spoon of vanilla ice cream.
You can then drizzle more maple butter sauce on top.
